Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz can breathe a sigh of relief as reports claim he will not face any serious punishment following a February drug-related arrest in Maryland.
According to reports, a judge has dismissed the case by finding Chainz not guilty of his alleged crime.

Chainz hopped onto his Twitter page last February to publicly blast the police following his arrest.
“UMES we on the way , dam police f*ckn wit a n*gga , we fina turnUP,” he tweeted late Thursday (February 14) night.
“Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smhhttp://instagr.am/p/VvSPnWTYS7/”
“We to jail for a grinder??? REALLY???” (2 Chainz’s Twitter)
Last May, Chainz called out New York City police for arresting him over jewelry.
“They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag,” 2 Chainz told MTV News in an exclusive telephone interview. “It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff. … I do exclusive pieces. My pieces are actual conversation pieces, like, literally. When you see my gold, when you see my stuff, it’s something to conversate about. People weren’t doing four-finger rings and all that. I just like to set myself apart, so I definitely wasn’t trying to beat nobody up on the airplane or nothing.” (MTV)
A few nights after the Maryland incident, Chainz kicked it with NBA superstars Kobe Bryant and LeBron James at Houston’s All-Star Weekend event.
Last year I found out who 2 Chainz was when I overheard LeBron yelling “2 Chainz!” over and over again in the hallway at All-Star Weekend. Twelve months later, 2 Chainz has endorsement deals, cameos on 2 Broke Girls, he’s featured in 10,000 different songs, he’s performing with Fall Out Boy, and now apparently he’s friends with Kobe?
