Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame has shown no signs of wanting to call a truce with former affiliate Gucci Mane, publicly dissing him at last night’s Dipset reunion show in New York City.
After coming out as an unexpected guest to perform his “848” verse with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, Flocka changed up his “free” lyric to publicly go at Gucci.
“Fly young n*gga rob you with some Louis,” Waka rapped at the sold-out event. “Run up on my bus got burned now he tryna sue me/F*ck that n*gga Gucci/Free my n*gga Boosie/I swear to God my life is like a f*cking movie.” (YouTube)
Last week, Waka hopped onto his Twitter page to remind fans his issues with Gucci are legit despite claims of a possible hacker being behind the feud.
“#BossLife,” he tweeted early March 17th.
“Dont let da media fool u. This sh*t real Shawty” (Waka Flocka Flame’s Twitter)
Some reports suggested Gucci’s Twitter account fell victim to hackers which sparked the unexpected feud with Waka.
Hmm…Rahim from Warner/Atlantic says Gucci’s manager claims Gucci’s twitter account was hacked into. But then why is it that more than 12 hours later, 1) there is no “explanation” or retraction tweet. And 2) The diss tweet is still up. Look, hacking happens, so it’s possibility. But it doesn’t seem to add up in this situation. Also, usually you don’t see just one hacked tweet. Also…Gucci can be volatile. So, I’ll just say instead, I hope this incident of bad blood between one of my favorite buddy teams in trap rap isn’t irreversible. (Miss Info TV)
Despite the update, many media outlets were still skeptical of the hacker angle.
After Gucci’s tweets last night Waka responded, “Somebody tell Gucci Mane 2 SUCK A D*CK.” That tweet has since been deleted. But strangely, as of today, Waka Flocka is still retweeting disparaging comments from his followers about Brick Squad 1017 an telling them to support his label, Brick Squad Monopoly. (XXL Mag)
