Every little step Bobby Brown takes seems to lead him back in trouble with the law. But, good news is he surrendered and turned himself in this time.
The singer and brief reality-TV star checked himself into a Los Angeles county jail today to serve a 55-day sentence for driving with a suspended license and a DUI charge he received back in October — which he pleaded no contest to.
Along with serving jail time, the “Every Little Step” singer is required to complete an alcohol-treatment program for 18 months and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a week, according to the Los Angeles Times.
This isn’t Brown’s first time in jail. In 1996 he served five days for crashing his ex-wife Whitney Houston’s Porsche while under the influence of alcohol, and in 2000 he served time after a court-ordered drug test revealed traces of cocaine.
We know it’s his prerogative, but we hope Bobby Brown learns his lesson this time.
