It appears that all of Donald Trump‘s antics — as well as his neverending racist obsession with President Barack Obama — haven’t gone unnoticed. In fact, thousands have decided to protest “the Donald” by signing Democracy In Action’s SignOn.org petition, demanding that Macy’s “dump” the Trump because he clashes with their retail brand.

The petition, initiated by Angelo Carusone, essentially lists a number of Donald Trump’s failures publicly and otherwise. Of particular note, Trump’s bloodlust with the Birther argument that President Obama was born in Kenya is just one of his many irresponsible moments listed. Also mentioned is Trump’s sexism and his curious criticism of American jobs going overseas although his entire Macy’s clothing line is manufactured in China.

    The petition statement reads:

Macy’s: Donald Trump does not reflect the “magic of Macy’s.” We urge you to sever ties with him. Macy’s says it has a strong obligation to be “socially responsible” and that “actions speak louder than words.” Indeed. It’s time to act.

Carusone is no stranger to using the power of petitions to get notice, having crafted a similar campaign against conservative blowhard Glenn Beck in times past. This current petition checks Macy’s on its involvement with Trump, citing the company’s own policy of being “socially responsible” in regards to their business affairs.

The call to “dump Trump” is quite close to its current goal of 475,000.
