What is “Go To The Mo”?
For those of you not from Chicago or are not hip to Chicago “Juke Music”, the phrase “go to the mo” or “let’s go to the mo” is probably foreign to you. To bring you to speed, the phrase ‘go to the mo’ originated from a 90’s juke mix ‘Bang Ski’ off of DJ Chip and DJ Thadz collective project Bang Ski that was released in 1998. The track Bang Ski had a hook phrase “let’s go to the mo” which was followed by “Bang Bang Bang Skeet Skeet Skeet”. The track was actually a spin off of DJ Clent’s Bang Skeet, which is now dubbed Bang Skeet Original.
Jeremih ‘Go To The Mo’ was premiered exclusively on Power 92 with DJ Pharris who is featured on Kanye West’s Theraflu.
Jeremih’s Late Nights mixtape is set to include appearances from Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Twista.
