Auburn Hills — While Charlie Sheen was bombing in downtown Detroit, Lil Wayne and friends were winning in Auburn Hills, performing to a sold-out crowd of 14,000 at the Palace.
The “I Am Still Music” tour was top-lined by Wayne, the self-professed Best Rapper Alive and one of the most unique characters in pop music today. Coming off a stint in Riker’s Island that had him behind bars for the better part of 2010, Wayne was refreshed and hungry on stage Saturday, bouncing around the massive stage with the energy and enthusiasm of a punk rock skater kid.
